I'm a little behind on posting this but these are my favorite looks from my favorite shows these past two days. And yes, I know they're a little out of order but bare with me peoples.
I'd say Charlotte Ronoson's collection was one of my favorites because it had the most pieces I could imagine myself actually wearing. There is so much good shit. I'm really loving all the knitted crochet and laced pieces and I'm obvioouusly loving the bits of sheer sweetness in there. I love that she mixed in really lady-like, delicate clothing with rougher things. Cue: the sheer ombréd orange dress acessorized with a belt for a choker.
Jill Stuart's collection made me so happy. How could those bright, sherberty colors not?
Derek Lam won me over with the first three dresses. The bright and tangy colors compliment the serious, sharp cuts of the dresses so well. I'm such a fan of clean lines and this sleek look. The last two dresses are also so fun! I love the sequin dress with the white trimmings, it really brightens up the dress nicely.
Slits, slits, and some more slits at Doo.Ri toned down perfectly by the neutral palette seen throughout the show.
I loved Jason Wu's collection, he does modern feminity so well. Loved the hot shorts with the conservative tops, and I am a huge fan of that mullet skirt. I don't know if the last outfit is a shirt and skirt or a dress but I love it. Very Jil Sander SS 2011 on steroids, dontcha think?
And last, but certainly not least, we have Prabal Gurung. No other words come to mind but sweet sheerness and hints of purple.
