So give them a try I did at the premiere of Stuart Weitzman's "Made for Walking" event in NYC over the weekend. I mean, how could I not after watching that video? How ridiculously ridiculous, in a great way, does Kate Moss look? As soon as I tried on my pair and looked in the mirror, it was like it was meant to be.
The next day I wore them with a sack-like black button-down dress. Although I don't doubt that these would look really cute paired with jeans and an oversized sweater, I decided my favorite way to wear the 5050's is with shorts, dresses, or skirts. It's flirty without bearing too much leg, and I swear that naked skin between your knees and upper thighs gives you the same kind of boost wearing high-heels does. Except instead you're in flats! And really comfortable! Hooray! Back to the event though, below are some more pictures of the night:
And me! Alongside Anna dello Russo, Chiara Ferragni, Olivia Palermo, Shea Marie, Natalie Suarez, and Kate the great on Stuart Weitzman's website. What a surreal site (pun ooooobviously intended).
