It first started with the release of Man Repeller's second collaboration with Superga, which I must say I love way more than the first. I really like the girly touch the satin sheen gives these classic sneaks, as well as the extra long laces for that graceful ballerina feel. I'm totally stealing my parent's credit card information to buy the pink pair below. If you're reading this, sorry in advance?
Just as I was imagining all the outfits I'd wear my new sneakers with, I came across this dress -- ok, shirt -- from Zara.
I've been wanting a mesh, jersey-like dress very similar to the one above for literally ever (aka since Alexandra Spencer wore that Reebok one during Sydney fashion week two years ago). I don't know if I ever even published this, but I was so desperate to get my hands on one that I attempted to get my own made via a local sports store. I say attempted because as soon as I had finished designing my masterpiece they dropped the bomb that I had to order a whole teams worth of em (of course), so thanks Zara! You're so good at filling the market's voids. I ordered a medium in hopes of being able to get away wearing it as a dress, so I'll let you know how that goes. Anyway, I don't know about you but I'm puuhreeeetty excited to look like a sporty modern day ballerina. Shop the sneakers here and ze shirt come dress here.
