I know I've probably dubbed other jackets "the coolest jacket ever," but this clad in patches Off-White military jacket is up there. Way, way up there.
I told you patches were next in line to become a "thing," and here it is in fruition. So, so, so dope. If you look closely, you can kind of see how freshly painted the white stripes look. I really love how organic (and did I mention cool?) the details appear together. Like, this jacket was meant to be exactly this way and no way else, ya know?
I'm wearing a blue and white striped Phillip Lim blouse underneath (more sizes available here). As hard as I try to stay away from button downs, I just can't. They're the ultimate "effortlessly cool" piece. In theory there would be a navy button down peeping through, steeply unbuttoned to remind everyone I am indeed a girl, but I had to work with what I had.
The best, or my favorite part, about this outfit are the pops of white. I don't know about you, but I think these Lanvin mules compliment the jacket rather nicely. Also, check out that gold heel! White shoes are hard, mules are even harder, but Lanvin really hit a home run with these guys. Oh! And the jeans are R13 (on sale here and here!). I've definitely mentioned before how much I love R13 for their relaxed fit, but it's worth mentioning again. They fucking rock. I went up two sizes for an even slouchier look, but I would recommend just going up one.
Sometimes I really think I'm a masochist. You don't know how much/badly I wish this outfit already existed in my closet. Inserting mad crying emoji's here while hearing my mom yell in the background "it's not all about clothes!" Oh, the pains of working in fashion... Or is the curse of good taste?
