Today in things that merit your attention/discussing, Julie de Libran as artistic director of Sonia Rykiel. De Libran, former studio director at Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs' right hand (wo)man, is just the breath of fresh air the French brand needed. I would be lying if I said I caught up with all the Spring/Summer 15 shows, but of the ones I have seen, this one is pretty up there. And by pretty up there I mean one of my favorites this season. I find it rare to absolutely love collections as a whole, but I would without a doubt wear every single piece from this collection. The collection was jumpsuit and fur heaven with a military green, white, and navy and black palette that screamed my name. No, really.. it screamed. It's like de Libran knows me.
So..much..to..love. How good are those overalls cum jumpsuits? And the military jacket with little sequin shorts? And the furs (I shotty Joan's!)?! I want it all. Except for the shoes. I'll pass on those, but do note that sock and sandals combo. It's happening, people. Also note the combination of navy and olive green -- one of my faves.
