Sarah Burton has been on a serious roll recently. While I understand the legend that was, and continues to be, Alexander McQueen, I never personally felt anything for the skull-loving house until this dress. The sheer lace trimming, off the shoulder cut, cinched waist, and billowy sleeves... this dress is sort of like a gateway to Burton's SS16 collection for Mcqueen. If you haven't seen it yet please do yourself a favor and click here. If I didn't know any better the collection was made for a 2015 gypsy bride travelling through the Moroccan desert en route to Mamounia. I could be totally wrong though. Regardless, each look is more perfect than the next. I've never been a big fan of ruffles, but I literally caught myself drooling at the show. The embroidery was also next level. All in all, delightfully romantic and nostalgically modern (if that makes sense).
